How the job gets done

  2. Remove the old glass

    The damaged windshield is cut out with specialized tools while your paint, dash and interior stay protected.

  3. Bond the new windshield

    We prep the frame, apply fresh adhesive and set the new glass so it's aligned and sealed to the manufacturer's specifications.

  4. Clean up and review

    We clear away debris, clean the glass and tell you how long to wait before driving.

Aftermarket or OEM glass

Most of our windshield replacements use high-quality aftermarket glass made to fit your vehicle and meet safety standards. If you'd rather have original equipment manufacturer (OEM) glass, ask for it when you request a quote. OEM parts are available on request and usually cost more.

Many newer vehicles have cameras or sensors mounted behind the windshield. Mention them when you book so we can confirm the right glass for your vehicle.

Curing and safe drive-away time

The adhesive that holds your windshield needs time to set before the car is driven. In most cases that means waiting at least an hour, depending on the product and the weather, and your technician will give you a specific time.

How long does windshield replacement take?

Most replacements take about one to two hours on site, depending on the vehicle and the glass.

Can I drive right after a new windshield is installed?

Usually not right away. Plan on waiting at least an hour, and follow the drive-away time your technician gives you.

Do you install OEM windshields?

We install high-quality aftermarket glass as standard. OEM glass is available on request and is usually priced higher. If your glass has to be special ordered, a deposit is required and is kept if the order is canceled.

What does the windshield warranty cover?

Windshield replacement includes a 30-day workmanship warranty. The glass itself is not guaranteed, and new damage from impacts, vandalism or collisions isn't covered.

Is there an extra charge for mobile service?

No. Mobile service is free, with no added fee for coming to you anywhere in our service area.
