Small, fresh chips

Small chips caught soon after they happen are usually the strongest candidates for repair.

Cracks under six inches

A short crack that hasn't started spreading may be repairable instead of replaced.

Outside the driver's view

When replacement is safer

Repair or replace: how to tell

Repair generally suits small chips and short cracks, under about six inches, that sit outside the driver's direct line of sight. Damage larger than a credit card, cracks that keep growing, shattered glass, or damage in front of cameras and sensors usually point to replacement instead.

We don't perform chip repair in-house. When your damage looks repairable, we refer you to a repair provider and help coordinate the logistics. Because the repair is done by someone else, there is no guarantee on the result.

Why waiting costs more
