OEE glass, OEM requests and ADAS
Most replacements use OEE glass, short for original equipment equivalent. It is made to match the specifications of the factory part while keeping the cost down. If you prefer glass from the original manufacturer, OEM is available by request only and is priced higher.
Many newer vehicles on the Westside use cameras behind the windshield for lane-keep assist or automatic braking. We do not perform ADAS calibration. If your vehicle needs it after a new windshield, plan on a visit to a calibration specialist of your choice afterward, and we will flag this when we quote the job so it does not come as a surprise.
After a break-in
A smashed side window usually leaves glass inside the door panel and across the seats and carpet. Our technicians remove the debris from the door, vacuum the interior and then fit the new window. If the break-in also damaged the regulator or motor, those parts can be replaced during the same visit so the window works properly again.
